Much of the Alliance's funding for CIS and Advocacy is made possible by the United Way of Gaston County. With each $1 received from the United Way, the Alliance is able to secure $4.15 in additional funding for programming to meet the needs of our children in Gaston County. The Alliance for Children & Youth is a tax exempt organization - 501c3 - and all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the IRS. Our organization holds two fundraising events throughout the year. There is an annual Oyster Roast & Shrimp Boil in August. The Alliance also participates in the Community Foundation's Run for the Money event each spring. We accept donations and if they are given without restriction, they will be used in the Advocacy work of the Alliance. However, a donor may direct a donation to one of our programs listed on the Programs page of this site. |
