Much of the Alliance’s funding for administration and advocacy work is made possible by the United Way of Gaston County. With each $1 received from the United Way, the Alliance is able to secure $3 in additional funding for programming to meet the needs of our children in Gaston County. In addition, we are able to secure $2 in donated goods and services for these children from area businesses. Volunteers also provide over $130,000 worth of time each year to children in our programs across the county.

The Alliance for Children & Youth is a tax exempt organization – 501c3 – and all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the IRS. Our organization holds many fund raising activities throughout the year, which are listed on our Events page. Please feel free to call our office or send us an email if you are interested in attending or donating items or services for an event.

We accept donations and if they are given without restriction, they will be used in the Advocacy work of the Alliance. However, a donor may direct a donation to one of our programs listed on the Programs page of this site.
